In the first year (2005) this basket will contain 5 or 6 pictures; after a few years the basket might expand to 8 or a maximum of 10 pictures. By offering a basket with a larger number of films the investors’ risk is minimised: the profit potential increases while any potential financial risk remains the same. In the first baskets we anticipate the following set-up: • 2 pictures budgeted between € 1.5 - € 2m • 2 pictures budgeted between € 4 - € 6m • 1 or 2 pictures budgeted upwards of € 12m At the start of the fund we estimate that the film package will have a value of € 12 - € 14m, and after two years € 20m of invested capital per year. These amounts include placement fees for the bank, and also structuring and management fees for Peloton Pictures. Please note that the actual production budgets therefore will be lower than the above-mentioned figures. The decisions to select films for the basket will mainly be based on practical reasons. Only pictures which comply with all our requirements will be considered. Very soon we will publish a list on our website outlining the criteria we use, allowing every producer to judge if co-operation with Peloton Pictures is within the territory of their needs and possibilities.
